My fiancé was wrongfully pulled over by one of the detectives in Osceola. My fiancé let the front window down, but the detective did NOT have the descency or respect to talk to him through the front window; instead he asked for my fiancé to let the back window down. I don’t know if the detective was scared or was just trying to get a glimpse of what was inside our car without a warrant. We have nothing illegal in our car so all he seen was our daughter, her toys, and my fiancés security belt for his job because he is a security guard. After not finding anything, he then tells my fiancé that he was driving 10 mph over the speed limit and proceeds to asks for his drivers license. He walks back to his car, runs my fiancé’s driver license then walks back to the back window and attempts to hand my fiancé is DL back while telling my fiance to slow down. My fiancé responds “alright” . The detective not hearing my fiancé or taunting him snatches his DL back and says “do you got me? You don’t need to have an attitude because I’m letting you slide” My fiancé tends to say AGAIN “alright”. He rose the window up and we left. This detective was unprofessional, and spiteful. We are all human beings and we should all be treated equally and with respect. We should not be taunted because someone has a badge, and I pray that those with badges will soon understand that.
