Great teachers. Safe area. Play equipment is safe. Nice area to live. Grew up down the street and its always been a good school.
First day of school, I got a call that my daughter (who is 7) didnt make it on the bus. So someone had to pick her up. Second day, they called me twice to verify she was a bus rider. A couple weeks later, she didnt get off the bus. When I called and talked to the secretary, it took them THIRTY minutes before they were able to tell me where she was. I got told two different stories. First, they said she fell asleep on the bus that takes her to Oak Grove before being taken home... the second story was that she got on the wrong bus to go home at Oak Grove. Then, that next day I got an email from her teacher, Laura Sullivan, that they didnt know where my daughter was for a solid hour. She was dropped off at 730 and didnt make it to class until 825. There was one teacher who recalled seeing her at 8. When I asked my daughter where she was during this time, she said she was eating breakfast and went to class. I was refused by Mr Mangrum to transfer her to Greene County Tech. So NOW I fear every day I take her to school because that school is apparently full of incompetent teachers that do not know how to care for children and keep them safe. That school is a tragedy waiting to happen!!!!!!!!
