I booked this property via AirBnB on Memorial Day. Bob did not reply to any of my messages the week before. I received a confirmation of the booking and was charged for the entire stay up front. The morning of check in, I called Bob to inquire about the optional boat rental that was in the listing, and he sounded shocked that I had a reservation for that day. He said he forgot to update his calendar with AirBnB and the property was double booked. Ruined our vacation and disappointed our kids. But worst of all — I cannot get a refund! Bob did not cancel the reservation (because he’d have to pay a penalty) and just pocketed my money, and AirBnB won’t return my calls. Total scam. The crazy thing is, Bob says this has happened several times before — so he clearly is running a scam double booking and then not canceling, so AirBnB never penalized him and he makes double profits by scamming families.

Lovely tranquil location worth a stay & visit. Plan a wedding here or party. Inside was gorgeous & clean. A night or more will rejuvenate your soul from the hustle of daily routines. There’s a sand volleyball court, a fire pit area, dock for boats & jumping off of. Well maintained with plenty of added extras. Go & meet Molly the dog. Be ready to throw a stick or ball. She is waiting for you & the kids too.
