We had an amazing time here at the beginning of September. The interactive displays were fun for the adults and teens. The facility is very spacious so social distancing was not a problem. A lot of the exhibits are hands on but there are many sanitizing stations set up throughout and the workers were cleaning diligently. I would definitely recommend this museum if you are in the Hot Springs/Lake Catherine area. Don't forget to walk the Dinosaur Trail and play in the tree tops!
Don’t know where my original review went, but I’m willing to post again because of the rudeness of this experience.nnWent in with a group of 10 (around 7 children and 3 adults.) Everybody was wearing a mask except for myself (due to having asthma) and the ladies at the front desk were absolutely awful to me about not wearing one. When I asked to speak to a manager she informed me in an incredibly condescending tone that “if I was that sick, I didn’t need to be out at this time anyway.” I understand safety measures need to be in place, but the law states people with conditions that don’t allow them to wear a mask are exempt. On top of that, there were others inside the building that had them below their nose as well as down on their chin. I don’t care how somebody else wears a mask, but if they’re going to enforce this so strongly so our entire group needed to leave, then I expect them to have some consistency instead of trying to act like doctors and recommend me not going out in public.nnI go to hot springs once a year with my family, and I will not return to this location.
It's great for very small children. Older children will not find enjoyment here
Very fun places for all ages!! There's a lot of different science exhibits with explanations. And there's a dinotrek outside to get some fresh air. The Bionic Me exhibit going on now is pretty cool
Wonderful experience; highly recommended to check out!
