Taco Bell

Super friendly guy in the window. He was very polite and seemed to still like his job. A lot of drive-throughs have employees that shuttle you through like cattle with sometime not so much of a hello. It was refreshing to be treated as a valued customer. Thank you.

It is a small local Taco Bell/KFC combo location that rarely has outstanding quality food but it's familiar and comfortable in that national chain fast food kind of way. Usually the customer service is, at least tolerable but last night we encountered a grumpy, snarls, smart mouthed and generally rude medium young girl who refused every friendly gesture I offered in a short and curt diminishing manner, argued with my passenger, made serious with my meal and frankly, refused to correct the issue at hand and offered no apology or, actually, not even the absolute least any good employee would be smart enough to offer simply having been raised in something superior to anbarn by mice and piglets... Not even a smile offered due to the most basic of socially acceptable norms or basic manners. Her slamming the drive through window because my passenger dared to ask that she receive the beverage that was in the price of her somewhat tired and in need of being replaced with freshly prepared chicken meal, in spite of having ordered a large bucket of chicken and several side items and having a 20 to 30 minute drive home to dine with our hungry house guests as the food that I tried to consider acceptable was rapidly becoming cold,greasy and rubbery. We were told, as well, that in no uncertain terms could the mashed potatoes be exchanged with macaroni and cheese. I'm so disappointed and discouraged that with our society and communities already under the stress and anxiety that has been a constant anxiety for all Americans and topped off with the insult and Ininsanity of the White House Administration and the indescribably humiliating and unacceptably tantrum rooted misbehavior and horrific words and deeds of our 'president' in residence for 69 more days, I guess I really am an old relic of a gullible fool because I was trying to offer simple kindness and respect to someone that I realized has been working throughout the pandemic and although exhausted has begun to realize that as a nation we're not close to resolving the contagion issue and it is quite obviously getting much worse and the bad news of isolation and home confinement are going to be mandatory because too many of my fellow Americans simply didn't want to cooperate in the easiest task discovered that offered any protection, masks & hand washing, because it was humiliating or damaged their fragile shallow egos to make the simple gesture of wearing a mask and, to date, continue to complain about their freedom being accosted and absolutely in denial regarding the fact that simple masks protect others AND oneself from what has morphed into a truly terrifying attack and threatens our survival and quality of life should we survive. I don't understand how I can feel so deeply for my neighbors, family, friends and members of my community as well as internationally and yet, so many have become unkind, inconsiderate, essentially the worst of oneself and unwilling to even attempt a brief moment of attempting empathy, compassion or one spread of the love and generosity of heart which I, personally, believe we are all born with because we are creatures of love, hope, belief and a genuine care for others and ourselves. We're interested to have hearts and to care about more than what we seemingly care about, only what we can get from others. I have felt every imaginable emotion since isolation became such an uninspirational and rage filled reactionary public issue that shocks the international communities into near speechless horror except when mocking, laughing, ridiculing disbelief and disgust replacing contempt and deserved ridicule and humiliation with a side of judgment on our history of arrogance and belief that we are superior and entitled. I have recently discovered as I sincerely worked on honest and intimately truthful and painful realities regarding my own personal biases and unrealized prejudices and how I can become more self-aware & willing to be open to growth, change, improve myself and how I respect & treat others. Expectations are already low but the food was an all time worst. Remember that these are the places full of employees that want $15 hr to mess stuff up.

Fast and Friendly Service, Jared was on top of my meal and was practicing all covid safety procedures!!!

The girl in the window was very helpful. Asked me to fill out a survey and still got me my change and my food in less than a minute. Ill be filling out the survey too.
