I've gone to Marys twice now. I get acrylic because I like to repaint. BOTH times 2 tips broke off within 3 days. I stay at home and do not handle my hands roughly.nThis 2nd time, last week, I had her repair the 2 nails that popped off. I asked her to grind out my new growth 4 times AND kept showing her. She kept saying shed do it.nAs she finished she started painting and it was too late.!!! I asked why she only did the new growth on the 2 nails & I got no answer. She had to ask someone if THEY could do it, &, I was told, too late.nSo NOW, 1 week later I have 3 tips broken and SEVERE new growth showinv. I'm not happy at all!nI WANT to ask them to fix it all but I can't afford it only 1 week later? I'll be finding a new salon.n(THe 1st time I got a set, I didn't notice the new growth until I was home! I called up there to ask If that was their policy, and was told told only if I ask. What? That's crazy!nSo LAST week I made SURE TO ASK and kept turning my hands over to show her, and was told 3-4 times, yes I'll do it.nUgh NOT.nWhat am I missing?

Everyone was really nice and they were able tti get all 6 of us in.... but... they didn't do a good job. After leaving we were already noticing edges that weren't filed. One of us paid $65 for different color acrylic and they messed one up and couldn't fix it. Fast forward to one week late . Nails are already pulling away from nail bed. I have paid less for much better nail jobs.

Got a manicure yesterday and it was a really good manicure! Unfortunately the nail polish the girl used was clumpy because it was old! She kept layering clear on it to make it look better but I had to completely redo my nails!nnI worked for a prestige cosmetic store wherein I sold supplies for manicures and pedicures! In times past I have recommend Mary’s because of the good looking results I actually saw on my customers hands!nnI wish that the lady doing my manicure would have stopped using old polish and got a new bottle. She did stop and thinned it out with nail polish remover! It clumped even worse and to think that several coats of clear would fix it revealed a lack of professionalism!nnWill I go back? Yes...nnmistakes are made every day! I’ve done nails for many, many years and I have made many, many mistakes too!
