Jonesboro Police Department

The police department in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is as balanced, caring, and professional as anyone could hope. What a difficult task those men and women face every day. If I am speeding through town an officer is the last person I want to see, and yet if your speeding past me I am begging for an officer to be near. Chief Elliott is a gentleman and great leader to his department. To all the officers and staff of JPD, good job and thank you for all you do.

Very helpful department. Extremely responsive to major crime. Very informative of the local public. As probably one of the few reviewers who deals with a lot of local departments, I can tell you this one is pretty good.

They have never stopped me but I see them all over town so hope they doing the right thing. A few of them could be better driver's.

Too trigger happy, need better training. Telling someone to drop a gun while they are pointing it toward the ground with two fingers on the grip and shooting within seconds of the first verbal command is poor training.
