Portland Police Bureau: Training Division

Why does Portland Police allow violence and disruption to endanger its residents on a regular basis? They sit back and watch as protesters disrupt traffic, damage property, and verbally and physically assault innocent residents and their property.nnPortland's police dept regularly fails to do its job. The one fundamental role it has is to keep the peace. They certainly earned a 1*.nnI can only assume the training division has something to do with this utter lack of competency. This is where they train cops who go out and allow mayhem to occur with little repercussion. The training center earned the 1* as well.nnBest of luck Portland. You'll need it.

Instead of training in de-escelation, they train to use overwhelming force culminating in the murder of unarmed people and children.
