Troutdale Historical Society & Barn Exhibit Hall

Great place to view some of the history of this area. Troutdale is the gateway to the Gorge and along a great path to view the falls. Staff here always friendly.

Excellent Museum that has great well laid out displays. So glad we visited!

This is a cute little set of museums just past downtown Troutdale. What the lack in quantity they make up for in quality. They have a great exhibit on the history of the old highway and it's local businesses. The staff are friendly and genuinely seem to have fun working there. The house next door is fun to walk around and see the old furniture, appliay and fixtures. Out behind the museum is part of the Oregon trail as well.

I loved this historic museum. Very well put together and the volunteers were amazing! I think Shaina was her name... but whomever it was she walked us through all the exhibits and was very knowledgeable. And Sally gave some fascinating insight into the gorge. I will recommend this museum to all my friends visiting. Thank you!
