Hai Au Aviation

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!nnAfter insisting that we pay 100% in advance for six seats, the day before the flight was due we received a text stating that the trip was cancelled due to technical issues. They offered to take us by vehicle instead but wanted 5 times the usual price for sub-standard vehicle. We arranged for our own limousine taxi instead. We were told the money would be returned in a month. It had not been returned 8 weeks later and I was forced to place a 'payment dispute' through my bank. The Westpac bank were great and did a reverse transaction, whereby I got my money back. I really do believe that this company is a scam.

The flight from Hanoi to Halong Bay was the highlight of my vacation. Magical doesn't even start to describe how wonderful it was to see Halong Bay from above and land in the water. The scenery was breathtaking and we had an incredible experience with Hai Au Aviation. The entire process was easy and great. I highly recommend flying there!

Easy booking with sales team and very nice flight with professional pilots, but bad experience with local staff.nnFor some reasons, we needed to arrange a last minute transfer from Hai Au office (in Tuan Chau Harbor) to Tam Coc.nnWe were proposed a transfer for 500 000 VND, for a 3,5 hours trip.nThen we thought that it would be a direct bus shared with other people going to Ninh Bình.nWe were very surprised to be dropped at the highway to take a public bus (with no need to book).nWe finally arrived in Ninh Bình (5 hours trip) after a lot of stops , then we had to took a taxi to reach Tam Coc.nnWe have already taken public buses in Vietnam and in other Asian countries, so we know that the normal price is far cheaper than 500.000 VND, even if tourists usually pay more than local people.nWhen we ask a company to arrange something for us, it is because we don’t want to jump in public transportation (we can do that by ourselves).nThat’s why we were very disappointed, with the feeling that we have been asked to pay a not reasonable price for the service that we got.nnBefore writing this review, we tried to get an explanation from the sales team, but got no feedback from the team manager.nnAs a conclusion, don't trust and rely on local staff to arrange something for you, and everything should be good.

My family had a wonder experience during the trip on the sky: scenic flight above Halong Bay and back to Hanoi.nThe fantastic flight ! You can see a lot of islands on Ha Long Bay that you have never seen. The flight start smoothly and the crew member is very nice and friendly.nI wish I have a chance to fly again.
