Kwanza Lodge

Such a low key place, so peaceful. In covid times, a reservation is required in order to get into the lodge. Did the boat trip today on the river, it was really nice. So much green! Lots of birds, monkeys, we even saw a baby crocodile and a beautiful Eagle. PS.: I did not take photos with my cell phone on the boat.

Great lodge on the Kwanza river, amazing hosts, great food (buffet) and comfy tiny rooms. The boat trips on the Kwanza river are such a wonderful immersion into the nature, with lots of birds, monkeys and crocodiles if you are lucky ! If you want to deconnect from the city atmosphere to reconnect to the nature, it's the perfect place !

Such a great place to come and chill out. Vega is amazing. Such a great hostess. Rooms are clean and the AC is awesome. Solid food from the restaurant, all fresh and homemade. The pool overlooks the river. All around a great stay.
