Variety and very friendly atmosphere, without any pretentious bourgeoisie attitude. A good variety of stalls and very reasonable prices especially for the handmade products. Keep your eyes out for Sublime Spices Queen of Sauce - you will not be disappointed.

This is one of my favourite markets in Perth area. A really nice setting and great variety of stalls. Well worth going every month.

Overall, my experience at the Kalamunda Artisan Markets is a good. Situated in "Perth hills" on the first Saturday of every month, you'll find a variety of stalls with plants, cheese, ceramics, art, coffee, food-- the list goes on. I only ever really go for the plants because I have a problem (plant addiction). It's a great place to buy unique gifts, and if you're from or have family and friends from overseas, it's a good opportunity to buy quality Australian hand-made souvenirs. There's a real market feel here, the location and friendly people. It's a nice morning out even if you're not interested in buying anything. Prices vary and it's important to remember that everything is hand-made by the stall holder when perusing the items on offer. Parking is not a problem, though it can get busy as the morning progresses. I recommend going a bit early. Dogs on leads are welcome. I bought a stained glass bird on my last visit (see photo)

A lovely day for wondering about with the family. Make sure you check out Daniel(ink) and the clothing range he makes. Amazing and inspiring young man with cerebral palsy making a difference.
