Captain Stirling Hotel

Excellent room pitty about the noise some minor work on noise insulation and would be five star.

Friendly laid back staff, fairly basic food menu and variable food quality. Fish was good. Drinks reasonably priced. Good outdoor area for relaxing with family or friends.

Nice hotel. Steak was a bit underdone and too much gristle

Booked for Xmas lunch. when arrived I went to pay fro my meal. had to white in queue. When back to my table the food was seating there for while and it was cold. I the middle of enjoying the conversation with my colleagues and eating the cold food one of the staff (the manager) came to our table start collecting money for the meal. Also I asked the staff member (Manager) that I would like to have one of the food to be take away as one of our colleague was not able to be there. The staff member (the manager) drop a container in front of me with out taking the food and properly put it in take away container and keep it warm. The food was untouched and was not cheap. I never experienced such a poor customer service in my life.

Amazing experience! Our christmas lunch on Friday was just perfect. We sent our order ahead of time and it was ready as we arrived. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I will be booking again next year.
