Chequers Hotel

5 adults all over 55 years old .... 2 of which are small ladies requesting smaller portions from the menu..... being told they can't have their menu choice because of pub policy........ where do you get off telling seniors what they can or cannot have on advertised menu items? I am sure with more than 225 years combined experience on this earth these ex patrons will know what and how much they need to eat to have a good night out. The serving staff were courtess and powerless .... If you want an night out where you can experience kindergarten play ground bullying all over again ...perhaps we have found the place for you.

its my local..its good company..great food... and if you pick your night live music..walking distance from home or orger locals there is a shuttle bus..not local book a room stay the night check out the chittering valley next day..yep its the gateway and a great stopover.

Have been going here for a few years now always been a great place for an easy feed when you don't want to cook. Favourite meal is the steak sandwich.
