Aqua Gold Aquarium Centre

Start by saying the people who work here are really very nice. When I visited I saw neglected tanks. I saw some sick/dead fish. Algae over growth and too much sediment. Some of the tanks are far too small for the fish in them. The outsides of the tanks need to be cleaned.

My partner and i went there today and it was disgusting to say the least. the aquariums were filthy, some of the fish didn't have enough space to swim, the filters were unclean, there was a build up of white material on top of the tanks, there was also overgrown algae in most if not all of the tanks, some of which were brown on the bottom, (he said the fish needed the algae) and the glass was disgraceful. One of the "breeding" fishes was in a tank way too small for her, she was sitting on the bottom of the tank, couldn't swim around. the guy who i questioned the conditions was ignorant and said there was 2000L in that tank when there clearly wasn't. he also said for me to not question him. Appalled to say the least.

So far so good! All fish still alive!! First serious set up for the kids - Christmas present. Sturdy advice. We a bunch of novices and were strongly advised to start small and wise, and build later. Could have sold us a fancy expensive fish but didn't. Will be back as we build our aquarium! Thank you and see you soon for more!
