The Galway Hooker

The steak night is great especially the scotch fillet! Every Thursday night. I come here regularly and have been told about the curry chicken so that’s what I ordered tonight and I wasn’t disappointed, it was delicious and the bloody Mary’s with the oyster were a nice accompaniment, a little spicy and really tasty.

Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere and food. Accommodating to all ages. Live Entertainment good but got a little to loud as the evening progressed.

The food, the drink, the staff and service are all 10 out of 10.nnBut I can't fathom why the background music is so incredibly loud. There always seems to be a competition between the speakers and people chatting. I genuinely find it difficult to hear people across the table. There shoild be reason for the background music to force patrons to shout across the table at each other.nnI love the place, but everytime we go (a few times a week), we leave prematurely because of this fact.

Very nice bar, friendly atmosphere, good beer and the didgeridoo is blasting! Happy to come here again! 100% recommended. If you have any questions please let me know.

Love this mini pub nice and dark and cosy with great views of scarboroughs Esplanade and ocean, although I wish takeaway/delivery was available as the food is fantastic.
