Clancy's Fish Pub

Love this place. Great service, super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Large selection of daily specials but I find it hard to go past the soft tacos, especially now that they've brought back the prawn version. The normal serve is two but you can upgrade to three which is more of a main size. Excellent value for money which is why we come back again and again.

Quite busy, but expected for a wet long weekend. Managed to book a table and food was good. Probably best fish (not so much the chips) had in a long time. Not greasy or oily.

We went on the Easter long weekend which was very busy. We went for lunch with friends and our kids (both 3).nThere was a great grassed area for the kids to play on and plenty of kids to play withnThe staff did an amazing job. The tables were full 5 minutes after they opened the doors. Our food was on the table within 15 minutes of ordering. They had a plate next to the till telling customers how long food was taking to come out. Everything was busy but running efficiently and with a friendly face which is a nice change.nThe perfect place for a pint with children

Great find didn't even know it was there we were just looking for somewhere to have lunch.

We ended up at Clancy's after a mishap with our other dinner reservation on Good Friday, and fortunately they were open - and busy! We ended up ordering the seafood platter to share as well as some other small mains and the food was actually pretty decent. The food did take a little long to arrive though, which was the only downside for the evening. I suspect there is some sort of strong Korean influence in the kitchen as there are a few Korean dishes that have snuck on the specials menu.nnReally enjoyed the selection of local beers on tap as well and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and are after a meal/drink in a casual setting.
