The Landing - Alkimos

The food and service was just amazing. I had a chorizo and seafood linguine and my partner had a mushroom linguine with added chicken. Great selection of beers on tap. Family orientated bistro feel. Very nice for dinner for couples. Go hungry. You will not be disappointed.

We had our twins 21st Birthday here on a Saturday night.nNatalie and all the crew made the night very enjoyable and relaxing.nI would highly recommend it to anyone else thinking of having a function here.n10 out of 10.

I have revised my rating for the Landing. I have really been enjoying the Buddha Bowl with chicken on the last half dozen times I have visited and it is consistently one of the best things in the area to buy if you want a healthy meal out. I can't rate it highly enough. The service here is always great too!

2 of our drinks that we ordered were the same yet they tasted so different to each other. Meals took ages to be served. One had to be returned because it was not cooked to order. It then took another 30 minutes to cook a fresh Beef Pattie. Food quality was average. Some of the food was cold.

First and foremost, the staff that I encounter, were all lovely, extremely polite, (a rarity these days) helpful and good at their respective roles. Well done Team Landing.nThe meal I had 'Creamy Mushroom Linguine' was nothing like the description on the menu. Instead of a creamy sauce with mushrooms, which the menu implied, i got a thin red sauce which tasted of nothing but tomatoes. Instead of lots of mushrooms there was huge chunks of tomatoes, and the mushrooms I did find looked like they were out of a can. This was a disaster for me as I ordered the dish out of my love of creamy sauces and mushrooms. I don't know if the menu is grossly off the mark or the kitchen ran out of cream and mushroom.nSitting in the garden area had a nice ambience but was let down by the floor littered with food and napkins and the tables sticky. When I asked if the tables could be wiped, the response was quick and executed with a smile.nBottom line, I would go back mainly for the professional service of the Landing Staff.
