Outback at Isa

A must stop for tourists in the region. The staff were very helpful on local attractions in the region, the tours available and all things tourist. The local displays were very well laid out and informative. They had a local artists exhibit when we were there and they were very talented. The café serves great coffee and beverages and the scones and choc brownies were delicious. All up between the various displays on site we spent a day and a half at this one location.

Probably the best place to stop when you first arrive. Helpful, friendly staff with good knowledge of what there is to do+ even during covid they had great ideas. I personally loved the Fossil Centre because I'm a nerd but definitely still go.

I was only in Mt Isa for a day and only touched the surface I’ll go again that’s for sure. Outback at Isa is pretty spectacular. So much to see. I wanted to do the underground tour but it was booked out for days ahead. That alone says a lot. I settled for the City Tour. Wayne did a great job. So much about the Isa I did not know. I was not disappointed. Everywhere I went friendly and welcoming people. I’ll be back for sure but will book ahead so I don’t miss out! Thanks at the cafe too. It was the best burger I have ever eaten. Seriously!

I've been to this wonderful motel three times so far and have travelled the breadth of Qld...nothing so far in a similar price range compares to the friendly service and generosity of supplies/amenities compares to this excellent motel...5 big stars for the Outback Motel.
