Stumbled across this place after passing other venues near by that were closed just before lunch one Saturday.nTruly worth the visit , I loved the old building style mixed with the new additions. Well stocked bar & polite lovely staff. Great seating options with various places to sit & mingle. I did see 8 ball tables with plenty of room to play. Tick, its on my next visit list..

Best Brisbane Sunday Roast meal - YUMBO!nnSeriously I’m so impressed at the Waterloo’s Gourmet Sunday roast meals - every meal has been amazing. It’s not your normal roast meal and is wonderfully creative. Every roast comes with this amazing light fluffy Yorkshire pudding and is so delicious. If you come for the lunch sitting which is up to 3pm you will get to listen to really cool live music. If you are a Sunday roast dinner lover then def come to the Waterloo on Sunday’s. Check out their Insta for the roast of the day each week. So the roast meal is $30 which includes the main roast meal, house beer or wine and a pavlova I think for dessert; but I can never eat the dessert as the roast is more than enough. It really is such good value. It’s really great that finally a venue in the inner Brisbane city serves a Sunday roast meal. I’ve been searching for years and it really isn’t that common I’ve found - don’t know why!

Went to a private party here last night. Nice atmosphere, good food and service. And kudos to all the staff for the friendly manner in which you reminded patrons to keep seated. It was well natured and in good spirits but still very effective. Well done all.
