Sublime Hairdressing Salons

A HUGE thank you to Mark, your miracle-working hair stylist. It was our son's wedding day in two days' time and my wife went to another hairdressing salon for a minor tidy-up of her hair in advance of the big day. What a disaster that was; the other salon didn't listen to my wife's request, went to town on her hair, cut from areas we specifically said not to touch and destroyed her hair - she was devastated. On our way out of the Westfield Centre, we were walking by Sublime and noticed how well presented the staff were. My wife and I went in and we explained our dilemma and urgency to the elegantly presented lady at the front counter. She arranged for us to come back in a few hours to be attended to by one of their senior stylists, Mark. When we returned Mark assessed the situation and spent considerable time explaining the options to us. Well, what happened during that hour with Mark was nothing short of a miracle. He worked his magic and we couldn't have been happier with the result. She went from tears after the other salon to disbelief at how Mark was able to remedy the situation. We have been constantly shaking our heads in the days since, wondering how the heck Mark was able to achieve what he achieved. The wedding day came and my wife looked stunning and was very happy. We are so grateful to Sublime for understanding the urgency of our situation and to Mark for his experience, knowledge, patience, communication - and above all, his caring. What an incredible group of people.

While the haircut I received was fine and the pressure point massage was nice, the rest of service was extremely overpriced ($95 for a haircut and styling I hadn't asked for- in fact I said not to worry and just blow dry so I could leave), and I've never walked away feeling so heavily judged by a hairdresser and uncomfortable from an experience at a salon. I'd come in after colouring my own hair at home, and it was very dry. I'd expressed I was not going to do that again, wanted to give my hair a break and wanted a cut. I saw the stylist pull faces while working on my hair, she asked with attitude why I wasn't considering getting it coloured, how I found the salon (as if it's some sort of private club and not a salon in a shopping centre...), why I had an undercut (how do you respond to this? Because I wanted one???), and other comments like this. I just pretended to be happy with it, took a card and walked out to get out quickly because I was so upset by the experience.

After my appointment at another hair salon was cancelled the day before, I had the task of finding an appointment to have my hair curled for an event.nFrom the moment I spoke to Kym on the phone, she went above and beyond to fit me in at my desired time.nThe actual service was above my expectation, customer focussed and really has that overall feel that Sublime is the place to go and rejuvenate while being pampered! The staff were magnificent, Kym was amazing and actually took her time to deliver.nThe manager was present, taking time to individually walk around to each clients station and check on both her staff and clients.nnI will definitely be a returning customer! An amazing experience all around. Not only did they fit me in at last minute. Rani did an amazing job at my full head of foils. I cannot fault it at all. All of the staff were bubbly and bright and it made such a difference to my day! Can not recommend this salon enough. Thank you :)

I got an impromptu haircut at Sublime today, just walked up and booked for later in the day. the staff were very friendly and very helpful.nI had very long hair and asked for some assistance and advice regarding cutting my hair particularly short.nMark helped me out, was professional, knowledgeable and good fun!nI was very happy with the outcome and will be back for sure.nSo thanks to the team there for being fun and helpful, i appreciate it!
