I unfortunately was advised by dr brian ambrosis and agreed to have laser lip resurfacing with co2 for solar keratosis of 1 small patch on lower lip . the biopsy was not scc .. . it is a barbaric procedure especially in a 60 year old at risk age group for shingles herpes viruses . . it is a terrible procedure slow to heal and requires endless bathing like a severe burn and risk of infection . . I felt the explanation of the procedure minimized the suffering I endured . And I would advise to seek other options before having this done . my lip now is constantly dry and scarred .
