Stan's Chicken and Beer

We ordered the chicken burger and the chicken was big and crispy. Staff was absolutely friendly so that we could enjoy spending time there. Also if you are lucky, you can meet the kookaburra and touch him! That was a lovely experience.

We dropped to have some fried chicken. All boneless. Was not busy so service was great. Chicken was juicy.and crisp on the outside. Great place next to the anchorage motel. Beer was cold and local from the island. Will definitely drop in again

Went here for tea while staying on Stradbroke island after seeing the good reviews... and they were right!!nSeriously good fried chicken!!!! In fact the BEST home style fried chicken I’ve ever had!!! This is an absolute must try if you are staying on Straddy!!!!! Delicious!!!!

Good spot to grab a feed and hit the beach just behind but the chicken was a little heavy being deep-fried and service was a bit slow. The sweet potato chips where awesome. So all in all it was good!

I had dinner here last night with my hubby, I must say it was the absolute best fried chicken we both have ever had, it was crunchy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. The coleslaw was also the best, I hate too admit it but it was even better than my homemade one. Plus the service was extremely good and very friendly. Also added some great entertainment when a kookaburra decided too drop in for dinner ud83dude06 watching as they chased it out was just so funny. O I must mention the price of our dinner was so much cheaper than the other places we had eaten on the island. Hubby recommends the chicken and coleslaw burger while I had the boneless chicken pieces, coleslaw & chips n gravy ud83dude0b The serve size was huge, we would like to thank the staff for a great meal.
