Not a bad joint. Too bad they dont recognise or acknowledge local dwellers as well at they should. I dont bother going in that much......not as authentic as one would like. Ambience and decor is good and the regulars are nice. if only management would acknowledge those who are their 'bread and butter' customers, they probably do a bit better!

Very disappointed after being refused entry tonight having drank here for a number of years and the manager refused entry on the basic that a cloth snood wasnt good enough as apose to a paper med mask or a cloth mask that everyone else was wearing ....nDiscrimination and I shall follow it up as such .... shameful behaviour.... 7.45 pm ,n12 -02-2021..... The lunacy when people can sit inside the open front with no mask and outside on the pavement with no mask but no entry as your mask isnt up to our standard .... Thanks for showing your true selves !

Only stopped for a beer. Barman friendly and helpful. Kilkenny was great.
