Beds 4 u

Yesterday I was shopping at Maddington Central and was passing by Beds 4u and paused to admire all the lounge suites. Next thing I knew I was testing my old bones for comfort. Lyn, the lovely sales lady, offered assistance and advice. After testing all, my old rear end fell for one. Lyn was patient with me throughout the whole process. My brain was only browsing but my bum said buy! So I did. The sale was completed and delivery arranged with ease. To Lyn, “Santa” and the owner, thank you for a very friendly, helpful and enjoyable shopping experience. I highly recommend this company. Definitely 5 star.

I bought a King size iCloud 5000 massage bed from these guys (2 x singles synchronised for 1 x King mattress). My mattress is an $8000 Tempur so I wanted a decent base for it. Harish and Sharon were both great to deal with, and the price was MUCH better than anything I could find anywhere in the country (including lower quality versions on eBay with questionable warranties). It seems to be constructed extremely well including suitable thickness steels, suprisingly good welds, and decent powder coating on the frame. The only issue was that I needed to supply a cable to sync the two bases together as I am using 1 x mattress across 2 x frames. If you buy one of these beds make sure you get an RJ11 cable at least 1M long. Luckily I had a spare one of these so was not an issue for me. Normal LAN cables like a CAT5 or CAT6 are too wide so it needs to be an RJ11 cable with all 4 pins/wires as used in an old modem. Same plug as a telephone cable but a telephone cable usually only uses the 2 pins/wires (same plug size) so they won't work as I tried this first. These cables are about $4 on ebay but make sure you have one before your bed arrives if it is a King size or you will have to go out and buy one. Maybe Beds4U will start to supply these cables with the King beds, if so please let me know and I will update this review. It's all Okin brand controllers and motors which are the exact same motors as what are in the Tempur bases, but the Tempur ones are over $5000 and my base from Beds4U was much less than half that :) I feel confident having bought this from a company who has actual physical stores in case there are ever any warranty issues. They have several stores in W.A, but charged me $60 for delivery to Melbourne. The massage is actually surprisingly strong and feels really nice even through the mattress. I would definitely recommend that if you need anything relating to beds, that you have a bit of a look around, work out what you want, get prices, then go straight to these guys when you're ready to buy and they will look after you.
