Prestige Nail Bar

Loved my experience at Prestige! I had shellac on my toes and acrylics done on my hands and both turned out stunning. My pedicure experience was one of the best I’ve ever had. Wonderful massage chairs and the leg/foot exfoliation/massage was the longest and most lovely I’ve ever had. Also, I’d never had acrylics done before, but the whole experience was lovely. I went on a weekday during the day, so it was slower, and I’d really recommend it, because they have more time to pamper. Almost didn’t review because I didn’t want others to find out about how lovely this place is!

Today I went in with a beautiful set of my own natural nails and wanted a thin layer of acrylic to protect them from any breakage for we have a family wedding next week... the gentleman commented on how lovely they were... the girl started my nails and once again I expressed what I wanted... and I did not want to loose any length..I advised I was going to soak them off the day after the wedding so they were not even going to be in for 5 days..... unfortunately I stopped her 3 times for she was just filling and filling and I was losing my length and they were no where near even straight ... the acrylic was so thick... the guy ended up stepping in and done my nails... now they are half the size they were before walking in. They are all different lengths and shapes... and I showed him this... I should have just walked out... and he still charged me $55 instead of $75... ud83dude33ud83eudd37‍♀ufe0fnNever again... he could clearly see the destruction she had done and when he tried to fix them they got smaller and smaller and now the acrylic is wonky.. thick on one side thin on the other...but you could see he did not want to acknowledge it... he did say that he wished he had done them from the beginning...

I have visited here twice - the first time being much more enjoyable. I would not recommend going on a Thursday night or weekend (or any busy time for that matter) as all procedure flies out the window. The first time I visited I received a full set of shellac gel nails on my natural nails. the lady removed my hardened skin around my nail beds and take care whilst applying my polish - was an all in all good service. Because of this, I recommended to my friends that we visit. After visiting in a busier period, this service was not provided. We were rushed to make decisions, no manicure treatment was provided and the overall look of the painted nails are no where near the same standard (patchy, incomplete). Again, would not recommend visiting in busier periods at all.

If I didn't go on a Saturday it might have been better but two of my nails weren't set correctly so peeled off after an hour and the tech completely botched my nail shape, instead of round it was definitely not. I ended up refiling them at home and lost a lot of length to correct it.

I been here twice and both times were the worst nails experience i've ever had. First time was during Christmas and really busy so i blamed the rushed, bad job on that and gave them the benefit of the doubt. i went there yesterday and was barely even spoken to (both times) and left with a BLEEDING finger!!! Amongst other faults. There was no apology and she pretend like nothing happened after having the electric filer grand away at my skin!!! Officially never going here again - terrible nail job and terrible service.
