Montezuma's

I ordered takeaway for it to be ready in 30 minutes, yet having to wait another 20 minutes when I got there.nI ordered the vegan enchiladas on the phone and also ordering the vegan date cake, I was not offered the vegan coconut cream instead of dairy ice cream - even though I ordered the vegan enchiladas. I could not properly enjoy my date cake which I would rate a 2.5. It was way too sweet and too much.nThe enchiladas made me feel sick!!nThey had cheese on top (which is how it’s supposed to be) but also cheese inside and it was way way too much. The vegan cheese was barely melted, I would suggest trying to find a vegan cheese that melts better. They gave me a side salad with the enchiladas which was just slaw and vegan cheese ud83eudd2e. I really struggled to taste the flavour even of the sauce, I just wish there wasn’t so much cheese. Maybe I would suggest also trying to use vegan beef and using more sauce in the enchilada dish, inside with the beef too, but take the cheese out and leave it just on top. Let it bake more.

I just love Mexican food. We went to this place without a booking on a busy night. We were lucky that they made room for us and I wasn't disappointed. I will definitely be back again. Great food

I've been eating at this Montezuma's for years.nAmazing food! Everything is consistently awesome! I never have any complaints about the food.nIn never dined in at this one, but on pick is always clean and welcoming, with really nice staff who are all super helpful.nTheir phone lines goes down every now and then, but I'm not sure of that's their phone line or the phone they have.nI have noticed that sometimes I'll call and it will hang up straight after answering, almost like someone double clicked the answer button. I think this is what is happening with the phone ATM.nnOther than that an extremely well kept Montezuma's, definitely one of the best in SEQ!nnWill be ordering much more in the future!

I love Montezuma's. Great service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. My partner has strict dietary requirements so our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable with changes that could be made to the dish and he loved it! Thank you again for the wonderful service.nRecommendations: my partner had the California but with a few changes (left of pic) and I got the Sanan Andres (on the right). I highly reccomend them both as well as the Mole Poblano I got the last time I was here. Delicious!!nnUpdate: Still love it here 2 years later ❤nThe lady (owner i think?) is so lovely. Always a pleasure being served by her. The food is amazing - my partner and I have tried out many different dishes here and they have all been delicious. Service is great. I'm so glad we live so close by. See you again soon!

I loved the Montezuma's at Taringa, so thought would give this one a try. However, it turned out to be a very bad experience. Everything is over baked and really dry. Also the flavour is nothing like the other shop in Taringa. Will not come back again and do not recommend at all!!
