Grill'd Garden City

Quality was dreadful. Bun was over toasted and rock hard. The chicken breast was undersized but also served cold. There was hardly any contents to the burger. Worst I have ever had. The size/portion of the burgers over the years has also significantly reduced in size, clearly a head office cost saving initiative over customer satisfaction and value for money. Grill’d has lost me as a customer. At $28 for the meal, hardly value for money.

I'd give them five stars if they still had the Field Day burger, but none of the other veggie options are near as good. Apparently the beyond meat tastes like real meat, but I don't like the taste of meat…

After a negative initial experience with this particular restaurant, I was extremely impressed with my next visit. The manager Brandon was incredibly helpful and apologetic. Very pleased with the customer service from him and his team! Also the garden goodness and zucchini chips are the best. I could eat them every day.

Ordered a shared zucchini chips. Rocked up to collect my order 30min later and get told to wait in line that goes out the door. I've got a crying 3 week old in the car and the reason I need to wait is that there's only ONE register operating on a Saturday night, the wait was 15min. I was told my order would be ready in 15min to collect when I placed my order. Plenty of customers walked away. The manager Page didn't even look at me eye to eye to apologise sincerely when I said I couldn't wait 15min to pay for my order that was waiting for collection. No disrespect but that was poor customer service by the manager and I'll think twice before I go to this grilled.

Would like to give a personal shout-out to the little man at the front of the store with the strong legs and heart of gold. It was good to see a man putting himself out on the line like that....vulnerable and afraid. From first glance, you could tell the kid was a champion. But after getting to know him- you could see he was more than that. He was a champion with a wrestling belt. I couldn't stop the tears from rolling down face. I believe his name was G-Money, but it was tough to see through the tears. The only word that came to mind was natural. He was a natural man. Everything about him seemed natural.
