St Bernards Hotel

Amazing views and nice outdoor areas. However we went on a public holiday, paid $48 for a steak, was supposed to be medium rare but it was well done, chewy and tasteless, fortunately it came with enough pepper sauce to give it some flavour. I have had better steaks from Aldi. The staff were all nice and helpful, when we mentioned the steak, the said they would advise the kitchen so the can watch for it in the future. I hope they do as it is an expensive mistake for the patron.

Food is over priced and customer service needs work. Hope it improves ;)

Liked it so much that my wife and I got married here. Awesome views and they've recently (Jan 21) have done some renovations to have more paved areas and seating. Food is a bit pricey for what it is but of good quality. Service is good and staff are friendly. We travel back here to have lunch maybe once a year and it's consistent. Would recommend checking out.

We visited for a work training session and used the conference facilities. It was the perfect spot for the training but also to fit in some fun and relaxation. The staff were friendly and helpful with excellent service. The food was amazing - I had the warm falafel salad, pumpkin, couscous for lunch and then the steak and Guinness pot pie, flaky pastry topper, creamy mash potato and peas which I would highly recommend! There are spectacular views over the mountain and if you're lucky enough you can catch the gorgeous St Bernards out for a stroll or lounge in the sun. I would definitely go back and take friends and family - it's a must do if you are visiting Mt Tamborine!

I have always wanted to visit this place however I am so disappointed. The views are wonderful but so are a lot of other places on the mountain so as much as this is a draw card it definitely will not bring me back. Another draw card the business uses are the dogs which were just in a room which you could look at through a window. I’m not sure if this is always the case but given the time we were there that is where they stayed. The biggest downfall though was the time it took for the food to arrive. 50 mins later we were forced to ask when it would be ready. They then returned immediately with the food however it was cold and no longer fresh. This may be acceptable if we arrived during peak time like lunch time however we arrived after the usual lunch time rush. I would not like to see what happens during a busy time. There are plenty of other places to explore and that I will. Unfortunately this is not one of the places that I will have fond memories of.
