Akademi Alternative Small Bar

Access is slightly annoying with parking at the rear then walking around to the front. Layout inside didn't feel very user friendly. Food and drinks were quite good and staff friendly. Small details let it down unfortunately. Ie with the target demographic being "alternative" and the front door left wide open A: letting the cold air in and B: allowing general public ability to view in, restricts some patrons being able to fully express their individuality.

Bar manager Rowdy can make absolutely any cocktail in your imagination (seriously...from roast lamb to lemon meringue Rowdy can fulfill every one of your boozy dreams). He's also a total sweetheart, which makes spending time in this bar an absolute pleasure. This is without even mentioning the fact that Akademi is the most welcoming & inclusive bar in Perth 🖤

A unique, groovy, quirky, fun place to visit with an array of unique activities and classes, as well as an attractive comfortable bar. Run by an absolute sweet heart 💜 you feel in good hands the moment you walk through the door. Definitely worth exploring 👌
