George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens

Magnificent gardens! These are the best Botanic Gardens I’ve yet been to. There are so many beautiful trees, plants, flowers. Many paths, bridges and walkways. It’s quite a maze getting around and some parts have such a beautiful tropical feel. Plenty of spots to sit, benches are quite unique. I loved the dragon in the pond and the water feature is delightful. There is a cafe which wasn’t open when we went as it was late in the day. We walked to these gardens from Darwin city. I did notice that there’s lots of car parking. The crocodile sculpture is a cool feature. There was even a herb & vegetable garden on the grounds which was lovely to walk through too.

Glad we did the Gardens although some areas in definite need of some TLC.

Went there for a coffee because I was hung over. 5 stars

This garden has heaps of tropical plants. Nice place to walk with family & friends. For those who lives in the condo city area, and wish to have a garden, you can rent a plot here and grow your own herbs & veggies. Loved this place.
