Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre

We organised to do the Astronomy tour as part of a friend's birthday celebration. 8 of us went together, taking the bus pickup option. The bus was easy and fun and let us socialise on the way out and back. The location is beautiful and there's the chance to grab a drink from the bar before the event begins and watch the glorious sunset. The tour itself was really well done. Starting with a general discussion of astronomy and pointing out the general features of the night sky and how to navigate by the stars. Then moving onto the telescopes for 3 different views of objects in the sky. The night we were there it was Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. It was interesting and fun and the team was great. Relaxed and happy to provide as much detail as people wanted. The flow was efficient and everyone had a great time. Definitely recommended as something interesting and fun to do in Alice Springs whether you're a local (like us) or a visitor. Keen to go again in a few months to see a "new sky"

Magnificent place. Saw saturn, jupiter and the moon.

Absolutely fantastic experience, the view of Saturn through the telescope was breathtaking. We'd definitely come back on our next trip to Alice Springs.
