Classy, clean restaurant and bar. The food and service excellent. A local place situated at the Birtinya shopping centre. Stop by for a meal or drinks with friends and family. You won't be disappointed. The calamari was perfectly cooked. Thanks Chef!

Great food, excellent atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and accommodating (happy to split kids meals between kids). Special mention goes to Sarah who we have had served us two different occasions, she was informative around the menu and drinks and very friendly.

Went to the malt shovel tap house today for lunch and was more than impressed. Super attentive staff that are on the ball. Great selection of beer and knowledge of beer. I had the craft beer and beef pie that they said was made in house and you can definitely tell that IT WAS. Tender beef chunks, tasty gravy with a subtle but nice craft beer flavour. They did not over do it. The best things were the flaky pastry which just crunched and crumbled and the fact that the middle wasn’t 10million degrees hot so you don’t have to wait starving for 45 minutes for it to cool down. Overall would definitely go back there. The pie is a must. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to the staff
