Parklands Tavern

We needed a venue on short notice for a large wake, we had great difficulty with venues around town, that were not very helpful and overly expensive. That was until we called the Parklands Tavern. The staff were so understanding, helpful and were able to answer all our questions. They could fit the expected 300 people in the Yard bar and were very reasonably priced with the food. They accommodated all our wishes. On the day the staff were amazing, the food was delicious and there was plenty for everyone. Having access to our own bar and area made it more comfortable for us and on the day we didn't have to worry about anything. Thank you so much to all the staff who made our very difficult day easier. I highly recommend the Parklands Tavern for any function.

Good food for sure, have been there a few times. Not "coastal views fancy" atmosphere, more feeling like a resort dining room. Nothing too wrong at all, but not a romantic hideaway! Prompt table service and fair portion size makes for good family dining.

Drinks too expensive compared to other good venues

Sometimes the food can be a bit oily but otherwise good service and love the fish and chips!

Great spot for a drink any day of the week. Always welcoming with the friendliest bar staff in town. Huge outdoor beer garden and a decent menu (would be nice to see some vegan options though)
