Pelican Waters Tavern

I cannot say highly enough the beautiful food we had tonight. Cooked to perfection. Accolades to the kitchen. Without guidance and direction it would not happen... actually the bar staff were so friendly and the waiters. Couldn't fault anything. Well done

It is a lovely place. Three of us had the Seniors choice, which was Chicken Schnitzel, small amount of chip and salad, very delicious. The other two, one had beef salad and chips, the other had big bowl of very yummy chicken wings. It was ashamed that the day was overcast, as we could of sat out side by the water. Inside was great not closed in, all bright an airy. The only disappointment was our coffee & cake, my coffee was fine but other 4 were cold. Sent them back, when they came back it was drinkable. As for my cake (chocolate) and the others had apple-pie was absolutely delicious, BUT it took 45 mins before it was served. They were all very apologetic & we didn't have to pay for them which was great. Drinks, I had my usual of rum & coke, some of the others had wine or just coke. Overall a very enjoyable lunch.

Really good food and nice view if you sit outside. The lady that served us at the bar and was waiting tables was lovely! Would definitely recommend!

we visited on Melbourne cup day, the staff were a little abrupt, admittedly it was Melbourne Cup day and they were busy with their yuppy luncheon, we had a bistro meal.. steak and chips, It was good came at a reasonable time from ordering and was cooked well. View is lovely out on the deck. Asked for a change of sauce ordered before the meal actually came and they were very obliging. Will definitely go there again.
