Reef Encounters Fishing Charters

A magnificent charter from beginning to end. Mark and Angela are amazing hosts. Freckle is a sincerely hard working deckie and together they make an amazing team who work hard and tirelessly to put you on to the fish. We heard about Reef Encounters through a friend and have been wanting to hop on board for some time but were hesitant about the distance. Finally we bit the bullet and drove 14 hours from Melbourne to the scenic and remote fishing location off Marion Bay. Boy, it was so worth it! It’s only been a day and we are already arranging our next trip back. Thank you Mark, Angela and Freckle! 10/10

I have fished many times with Reef Encounters over many years and brought many mates who inturn have been return customers also both with and with me. I can not stress enough the professionalism of Mark, and crew when out on the water. They go above and beyond to help you get onto quality fish of many species from table to sports fishing. Once your onto the fish they make your day fun by helping with your catch getting it in the boat and off the hook and end of the day if you want gilling and gutting your fish also. The amazing support actually starts before your trip with even booking and organising your trip. Very easy and friendly people to deal with. With accommodation being made available, everything you need to catch the fish all you need is yourself, a sleeping bag and an esky to take your fish home. Will definitely be out with Mark and reef encounters for years to come. Thank you Mark for all the great memories

The best day ever, Mark and deckhand was awesome. We had family from UK who has never caught a fish before and they both ended with a tuna and several other fish. We caught 7 tuna for the day.

A great charter for a deep-sea fishing experience. The excellent skipper & deckhand ensure a fun day of fishing for a fisher of any skill level. I caught a 12kilo Samson fish, my biggest fish by far.
