Wallaroo Jetty

This jetty has the capacity to cope with a lot of fishing tourists to the area and is a credit to the owners to allow this kind of activity on what is basically a "commercial/industrial" wharf. My efforts that day were unsuccessful as were pretty much everyone else's efforts, but all spoke of previous victories in glowing terms

Great place to be

We just came for a walk, was nice until we saw a bird trapped in fishing line! If you can sit there for hours waiting for crabs, fishes etc. You can at least cut your excess/tangled fishing line from the barriers, theres bins at the start of the jetty if it's too difficult to carry home.

Fuel diesel is cheap here 1.08 a litre the jetty is quite impressive l guess fishing and walking it is about as exciting as it gets ...looks like a good place to holiday if you need MacDonalds and resupply every day didn't look like there was a cafe on the jetty but if l was a business person who lived there l would at least have a hot dog stand ....town has most services toilets water and day picnic sites..
