WridgWays - The Removalist, Brisbane

Tried so hard to book a removal with this company, never returned calls, never answered the phone, on the rare occasions they answered they said they had to organise it and will call us back, never called back. Constant chasing around and trying to get a response. We sent them what we needed, they gave us a quote, we accepted the quote and asked for a confirmation it was booked. They said ‘I’m looking into it I’ll call you back later’, never did, called numerous times with no response, absolutely useless so told them not to bother. I know this business is in receivership but it’s still trading, but if this is how they operate and treat their customers they deserve to go bump.

I relocated from Sydney to Gold Coast in December 2020. I have expensive furniture so I decided to pay extra to use Wridgways removals and packaging service.nnMultiple items were broken and some lost, and after months of emails to them they told me recently they weren't giving me $1 towards all of the damages.nnMy brand new MAC computer has dents all over the stand, not to mention the fridge that has several dents in it. My lamps were broken since they were not packaged correctly or with care. It's understandable that things might get broken in a move but at the very least you would assume they would be apologetic and offer some kind of reimbursement for the damages.nnI wouldn't recommend or use Wridgways again.

these guys somehow managed to send furniture from brisbane all the way to perth when it was meant to go to rockhamptonnni have never seen such incompetence in my short lifendo not use these services, they will take thousands of dollars from you only to deliver your essential personal goods within a month of when you when you were expecting them to arrivennfor context, here is where the stuff was sent vs where it was meant to gonni am 80% sure their trucks are driven by people without hands and also eyes

Shocking service, took 8 hours to pack up and move a 1 bedroom apartment. 2 weeks overdue for my move in date and no one will respond after calling 6 numbers. Complete waste of money. Do not use this company under any circumstance.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. No communication, Late, Damaged Goods and Terrible Customer Service.nnBooked a move from Victoria to Queensland, pack up went ok - all the removalists and packers were really nice people. Once it was supposed to get delivered was when the issues started. Delivery was delayed by over a week due to a dispute with the landlord! Not only that, but I was advised via email that there was no ETA on delivery. I was not kept in the loop at all regarding the delivery of my goods, I only had updates when I called to check up myself.nThen, at 8.30am on the day of the delivery (8 days late), when they were due between 730-8am, I was told that the delivery would be late again; should be there by midday. Again, no calls for an update, so at 1pm I called to see where they were. At that point, I'm told they will arrive at 2.30pm. Removalists come, again, nice guys, did their best.nOnce we go through our stuff the issues continue: 2 couches damaged (1 x unusable), a set of drawers completely busted and a few other little things.nAgain, the word 'communication' doesn't exist in this company's vocabulary. Reaching out day in day out for updates and even just an apology but no, nothing. I was told 3 weeks ago that I was to receive a call from the CEO to discuss my issues. Nothing. If their CEO can't even return a phone call then that explains why the company is shot. Stay away.
