Gov's Sports Bar - Karma Rottnest

This is by far the best place to eat on the island. The pub is normal, unlike the toffee nosed Quakka inn. Food is exceptional in taste and price.

The service for drinks was excellent and the food came out quickly, however when our Margherita pizza arrived there was no basil on it which is listed in the menu; before the guy put it down I asked where the basil was and he said he’d check with the kitchen. He left and came back and said we have no basil and then walked off. It was almost as if I’d asked for something additional on the pizza and he was doing me a favour by checking. A pretty frustrating experience and we ended up with a $23 cheese and tomato pizza.

Great place for a good night out. Food was very nice and service was fantastic good help with ramp to get wheelchair in there was great live music playing.

Lovely atmosphere and vege burger option! Great service and recommendations. The burger comes with chips! This isn't Grill'd and that's a good thing!!!

Awesome and quick service, excellent atmosphere and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Yummy bar drinks and live pub games are fun but..... Pork ribs were hard as rock and it's pretty hard to make pork hard!!...unless you cook it on a really really high flame, fast and frozen!? $29 steak looked like something fried in mud and it was completely burned even though I asked for medium rare. Soup of the day was good but the food other than was quite terrible. The entire restaurant needs a facelift!! Very dusty, cramped and messy. If they improve their food and just clean up the place thoroughly, it would be worth a 2nd visit and a 5 star rating. pork and steak meals were refunded without any fuss so that's a plus but something like steak should be always easy to cook in any pub.
