I have recently moved from Sydney to Brisbane and needed a new nail salon. I visited this salon and was over priced for a full set of acrylics which are advertised at $55.. I was charged $90 but could pay $85 if I had cash which was still way over the price I expected. 4 nails then popped off within one week! my acrylic nails usually last me 3-4 weeks therefore I returned into the store to get these fixed or a refund because of the price I initially paid. The girl who came to me was very rude and unhelpful when i explained what had happened. I asked to get hem fixed and she said 'it is your own fault they came off' I then said they should not be coming off within the first week and could i get a refund if they dont have time to fix them , she said 'absolutely no way'. I explained how I have had acrylic nails for the past year and infill them every 3-4 weeks therefore i have not been harsh with them, they have just been poorly done. She then rings the manager and the tells me to have a seat. she then continues to embarrass me by saying something in a different language to the other nail techs who come over and look at my nails and laugh. I asked her how long do the nails normally last on other clients and she said two weeks. again i mention how they should be lasting more than one week for the price that i paid, she then said 'go back to Sydney and get your nails done then'. I could not believe how rude she was to even say that. eventually she fixed them but I had a terrible experience with her and I told her i appreciated her fixing them in the end up but that she did not have to be rude. From her nail box I am assuming her name is Hannah but she did not confirm this. All in all, I got over charged, the nails did not last and she was extremely rude to me when I asked to get them fixed. Would not recommend and I will not be back

Really happy with my manicure. Super easy to make an appointment online through google maps. The Queen St mall location is clean and the lady that served me was really friendly. Easy to find near the food court in the mall. Will likely be back.nnThe salon was busy but not chaotic. The prices are marginally higher than at other nail salons but for the convenience of getting it done in the city, ease of getting an appointment, and the quality of the work, I think they are reasonably priced.nnI paid $50 for a gel manicure but there is another gel manicure service that is supposed to help strength your nails for $60. Maybe at some stage I’ll go back and try that.

Got the most detailed nails I've ever gotten here and the lady did not complain or get mad about the design once. She kept asking if it was good and she definitely did good. Cannot remember enough how amazing this place is

I stopped going to ProfessioNAIL salons a few years ago after a technician cut open my nail bed when applying a fresh set of acrylics.nnThen a couple of weeks ago a group of us girls went to ProfessioNAIL at Chermside Shopping Centre. I could not fault them so I thought why not give them another go.nnI had made my appointment at the QueensPlaza salon for 12pm and arrived at 11.55am. I was greeted by a lady who did not speak English very well which is normally fine but this lead to: no information about the cost of the service, her seating me with no regard to my appointment time and service and having total disregard for the colour I had chosen. She chose not to stop and listen and went and picked a different colour.nnI ended up going through 3 different technicians who didn’t really tell each other what was going on so I had to explain to each of them what I wanted. Eventually I ended up with a lady to help me out with a set of SNS nails. While she was lovely I ended up sitting there for around about 2 hours.nnEven though I do appreciate that this technician was taking her time to provide a quality service, I have never sat for 2 hours in a salon, never returned to work with my nails glued to the tops of my fingers and I have never paid $90 for a set of nails be it a full set, an infill, a repair or removal and reapplication. I was disappointed with the experience and price and I will not return nor would I recommend ProfessioNAIL to anyone I know.

I asked price when I walked in and owner fumbled with pricelist and it was obvious he did not know. So I went ahead anyway and had a French polish shellac pedicure and it was $75!nnThe job was great and the nail technician was lovely yet I think overpriced by at least $10. I wouldn’t have professed with service if I had have known it cost this price.nnLearning - I should have persisted to know price before agreeing to have service.
