Charlotte Nails

Quite possibly the worst pedicure I have every received. Didn’t file any nails into shape, used the wrong tools for everything, terrible terrible paint job, no foot massage, massage chair also broken, almost burnt my feet off in boiling water. Walked in with better nails than when I left. All round terrible experience - had to go to another salon to get them fixed.

I popped in this afternoon and was able to be seen immediately (I know I was lucky!).nThe ladies were so lovely and helpful. I wanted my acrylics removed and it was not easy due to the thickness of them (I had them done elsewhere).nThe care and treatment I received was second to none. The ladies also talked to me about different options with nails styles and walked me through why the process was requiring so much work.nThey were gentle and so kind I can’t wait to go back and get my nails done.nBecause of the care taken, my nails were in decent condition and after a small mani and some gel polish, look gorgeous! I’m so happy with them.nI honestly cannot recommend them enough ☺ufe0f☺ufe0fnnThank you again for help ladies ud83dudc90

Terrible customer service and no loyalty. Have been going to Crystal for the last 4 years . Recently my friend and I got SNS done only to have it fall off in 3 days. Booked in to have them fixed and Crystal decides to close early and cancel my booking. Explained I couldn't get in again for a few days and my fragile nails would break before that time. Asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else in the interim and got told they dont do them??? If the quality of your work was better I wouldn't have to ask for a refundnWill never go back

First time ever having a manicure, was walking past the shop and thought how very well presented it was and the prices were reasonable. The young girl that did my nails was very professional and helped make my first experience very easy as I was a little nervous. Only issue I had was that I wasn't informed that I'd picked a gel polish and it was extra until I paid. Although would definitely make the trip into the city for this shop!

Went in to get acrylics removed and gel colour, after the first girl used the filing tool over my cuticle and around my finger making it sting for the 3rd time I said something about the pain. Another lady took over who was using an acrylic nail to try and get in between the old acrylic and my nail bed which was then pulling extra nail off with the acrylic, I pulled my hand back and explained that this was also causing pain. She then proceeded to use and actual toenail clipper to try and the acrylic off which stabbed into my nail bed. I once again recoiled in pain explaining to her the damage she was causing. She then tried a third tool (thin Clipper) to attempt the extraction of the acrylic, which again stabbed me in the nail bed. I'd had enough pain by this point and requested to have them soaked off, so she put the one hand in hot acetone and proceeded to attempt the same procedures on the other hand before I protested again. My hands were also stinging in the acetone from the previous lady removal of skin on about 4 of my fingers.nSeriously doubt any of these techniques used are professionally taught, why on earth would there be a need for so much pain to be inflicted?! I was happy to be out of there.nnI personally try to only write positive reviews, but this was such a BAD/PAINFUL experience I feel it necessary to put out some sort of warning.
