Joel and Robbie from Giffen Furniture Removals recently helped me in a move from Clayfield to Kedron.nCan't thank the guys and company enough for how good they were through the whole process.nJoel & Robbie are super nice guys, extremely hard workers and they treated the house i moved out of (which wasnt straight forward!) and the place id moved into as if it was their own without even blinking.nThey were so meticulous with how they did everything.nnCouldn't have been happier with the service, and ive had a few dodgy ones in the past!nnThanks for your efforts today guys will be recommending your company to everyone!!

I chose Giffen over a number of other removal business I had contacted and dealt with Chris and Jo at all times. I found them quick to respond and always helpful. Stay in touch with them as the move gets closer and ask the questions you need answered so as to be assured that everything is going as planned. They were spot on time to move our goods and delivered them interstate the next day, quicker than I expected. The men doing the move were courteous, quick, and helpful. The price was competitive and I was delighted with the overall service from Giffen. I can't fault Giffen. They are definitely a company you can trust.

We needed two extremely heavy granite bench tops moved from a high set home. The first was difficult and it took five blokes to get it into the truck. The second one was unexpectedly jammed in place, despite assurances from us that all was ready to be lifted. A less experienced team would have been incapable of extracting it. A less committed team would have walked away until we had found a way to loosen it. Mat and his team worked on it for a long time until they freed it and the move was completed. They did a fabulous job which was way beyond what should have been required of them.

I used giffen for a move from QLD to the ACT. When unpacking my unit in QLD, the removalists broke my bedframe rendering it irreparable and it took me one week of calling the company daily and multiple emails to even get a response from the company. Upon finally getting in contact with the owner, she had no idea of the problem despite my multiple emails, and the owner blamed my bedframe for being poor quality Ikea furniture though it is only 3 years old and was completely fine before the boys came in and snapped 16 of the 20 screws required to assemble the bedframe. These screws were snapped in HALF and if the removalists had used more care to disassemble the bed there would have been no issue. I have had this bed moved by a different removal company before and there were NO ISSUES. The owner told me that I will have to pay a $300 excess on my $550 bedframe in order to claim insurance on it (I paid for extra insurance). The lack of communication and refusal to take responsibility for the problem is extremely unprofessional and disappointing. The owner did not apologise for the issue, nor did she apologise for the slow response. I will not be using this company again and I do not recommend it.
