The Gawler Arms Hotel

While the play areas for kids are great that is where it stops. The food is over-priced & prepared with very little care. It is presented poorly & tastes bland. The atmosphere is dim & the whole place needs a revamp of interior design & menu. It is genuinely trying to be the every-day pub but lacks just about everything & seems consumed with catering to it's pokie customers more than anything. Due to Covid the salad, veg & dessert bars have been replaced with a tiny salad & tasteless chips or potato being plated for you while I understand this is necessary I am absolutely certain that they could do better than a tiny pot of rocket & butter lettuce with once slice of tomato & a drizzle of something unknown over the top. This place used to be a buzzing, friendly pub with good wholesome food & service. Now, I am afraid to say it is a pitiful representation of pubs of the 1990's. Disgrace.

Enjoyed my meal. Great service and friendly staff. Felt safe there with strict safety rules.

It was a great meal, all of us had brilliant service from your staff .The children had wonderful meals and playing in the kids play areas. Meal presentation was superb. Will be coming back again and brilliantly priced meals. Thankyou.

Food was HORRID and over priced, kids meal came out so scrappy and plate was HOT and burnt my partner! Lucky it was not the kids who had touched it first. It was obvious it had been heated in microwave with the plate. Playground was so gross, smelt of urine.. over all, nothing was great about this place.. waste of money. We were very disappointed :( I would not recommend

Was a very nice meal. steak was perfectly cooked and parmi was to die for. Normally have great salad and dessert bar but with covid its closed. :)
