Bluewater Bistro

We had a lovely meal at Bluewater today. We had four smaller dishes to share. The S and P squid was perfectly done. We enjoyed the eggplant smokey dip as well as a share plate with various things and a small salad. It was perfect for lunch. Along with a lovely bottle of wine we could not have asked for more.nThe location and view are unsurpassable. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a positive experience.

We recently had a family lunch here. Positives are the setting certainly is one of the most beautiful in Perth.nnThe food overall was quite good however service was slow with a long wait just for drinks. Most disappointing was that our father became very unwell during our visit and needed to step outside. Kindly, an off duty nurse who happened to be nearby helped to provide first aid. No effort or care was shown by staff to help in the situation. We asked for a juice and then later a water to be told that only bottled water was available for purchase which we did. When asked if a wheel chair was available to transport to our car no effort was made to try to secure this or offer an alternative or help in any way. Fortunately some kind patrons and community members nearby offered to assist. Disappointedly and sadly no compassion or offer to help in some small way was offered by staff or management. Just a 50 dollar charge for a bottle of wine which was barely opened was taken away from our table as we all had to cut our lunch short and tried to assist our family member. Disappointing and won't be returning.

Love this restaurant. Good food and friendly service with great atmosphere and panoramic views of the Swan River. We had our wedding reception here and return for lunch every anniversary.
