Rickys River Bar & Restaurant

The atmosphere of Rickys by the river is just spectacular. However, our dinner there was sadly only mediocre... The staff didn’t pay attention to us. The food was well presented but did not taste worth the price at all, and two items from the menu were unavailable and didn’t have a replacement option which was slightly disappointing. We had been to Rickys a few years earlier and it was a completely different, 5 star experience. Really hope it returns to this level soon.

Almost Perfect! Our dine in experience at Ricky's Noosa was almost perfect... the food was  beautifully presented and delicious. The layout of the restaurant and the view were just lovely. Unfortunately, it  lacked the warm and friendly welcome you’d expect, particularly from a place like that... fine dining and all. To think that most of the staff there were all mature, one would expect they would have mastered it by now! The only decent person there who knew what she was doing was the young female staff member who had happily and patiently taken our orders. The rest of them on the floor needs more training in Customer Service... what it means and what it entails! Also, we have waited for a long time for our main meals.  They could have served us our entree first, but for some reason they did not.  That is the reason I could not give a full 5-star rating. What a disappointment it truly was! Kudos to the chef and staff in the kitchen, except for the long delay! Just to be fair, I did give a 10% /$50 tip and that’s intended for the young female staff who happily served us, and for the delicious food! One advice, do not discriminate, treat all your customers the same!

What a day!! Randomly popped in last Sunday for lunch. Team were incredibly welcoming and whilst the restaurant was full, we were offered the “bar” area. Hands down one of those lovely Sunday sessions. Food is exceptional...but as always..the staff give it the five stars. For sure try the tasting menu...wine pairing was nicely done as well.

My favourite restaurant over many many years. Food is amazingly delicious. The staff treat you like millionaires even when you obviously are not. Perfect uninterrupted view of Noosa river entrance. A wonderful dining experience time after time.

An exceptional restaurant with amazing food, service and a stunning view of the Noosa River. Delicious cocktails too! We loved enjoying our six courses from the Tasting Menu as we watched the sun set. We were treated to a taste sensation with every dish. The attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes was extraordinary. We always look forward to our next visit!
