The Rolling Rock

This place is proof that nowhere good is open past 1am on Hasting Street. Security is aggressive, your shoes stick to the floor and the music is terrible.

A friend and I went to this club on new years night this year, we didn't realise we had to pay on entry, as the young lady at the front counter didn't even greet us, or say hey ladies you need to pay before going in please or anything along those lines. We waited about 2-3 minutes before we decided to walk in as we were unsure if we had to pay or not and the chick was just death us and giving us dirty looks, as we made our way in she ran over to us and physically put her arm around my neck and shoved me back with her arm against my throat, as she called security saying we were trying to sneak in for free. Disgusting service and Soo rude. I'm not sure what the girls name was but she was definitely NOT professional at all.

Security were terrible. Took bribes it seemed to have people cut in line and also just let their mates and their mates mates in, leaving people like myself who isn't a local in line for 2 hours. If you get there and there is a line, forget about waiting, the line doesn't move because they just let dozens of other people in before you. Unless you're a local, it's not the place for you.

If you're considering going to rolling rock from KB, PUMP THE BRAKES and stay where you are. Long line up that doesn't move, as early as 10:30 on a Saturday.

I got kicked out after being in the club for 5 min for dancing. They say they told me to stop many times but I had just got in and got kicked out.
