Dining at Esmay was the highlight of our holiday. From start to finish the staff were friendly and professional and the food was an absolute delight. Trying new and innovative cooking using some ingredients we had not tried before. The set menu was a blessing taking away tough decision making. The standouts were the swordfish and the yummy pigs ear snacks. Thank you Alanna for your amazing and delicious food and to Tiffany for your exemplary service. Also highly recommend the matching wine pairings which were perfectly chosen. A wonderful night out.

Best restaurant we have been too in awhile. The food was unprecedented, the service impeccable and value for money considering what was on offer. Just back from eating next door at Rickys and there is no comparison. Esme wins every time. Ashame it’s only a pop up and hopefully chef will decide to return to Brisbane soon.

Esmay was a fantastic experience. We had the set course dinner. The food was beautifully crafted and delicious. Esmay pushes the creativity envelope and the diner reaps the benefit. Attentive and knowledgeable wait staff round off the experience. Highly recommended.

Wasabi has been our favourite Sunshine Coast ‘diner’ since it opened in Sunshine Beach so long ago. ARC dining rapidly became our go-to special night out in Brisbane until COVID struck. To have ESMAY (with Alanna Sapwell’s really inspired food coming out of the Wasabi kitchen is such a treat. The expertise in the kitchen was matched by the produce and the service.

Esmay pop-up. Exquisite setting. Decor elegant. Service impeccable. Flavour combinations delicious and original. Potato scallops were disappointing - potato too thick and too hard. Everything else was perfectly wonderful!
