Queens Park Botanic Gardens

Beautiful park. We visited during carnival of flowers and were blown away with the displays! I recommend getting there early to avoid the busier times if the day. The view from the Ferris wheel was worth the short wait and the staff were lovely.

Went here for the Festival of Flowers Although the flowers are absolutely beautiful and worth a 3 hour trip one way, the people that run the Festival need to consider: 1. Putting info booth in or near entry 2. Putting more food trucks 3. Providing some kind of seating around the food trucks This year, we had to leave the immediate area to find seating. Don't mistake what I'm trying to suggest- there were NO seating available. Not that it was so busy that I couldn't find seating. There wasn't any. At. All. One Table a few metres away from the food trucks (Doughnuts, Ice Cream, Coffee food trucks). That's it. All that's available are the park benches I assume is there when this festival is not on.

A beautiful park close to the city. The gardens beds were so delightfully coloured and scented. I took so many photos. The atmosphere during the festival was so calm. Everyone was enjoying being out and amongst the beauty of nature. It's such a credit to the gardeners. Now I know why people return every year for the Carnival of Flowers.

The gardens are wonderful. The flowers are spectacular. It was great seeing people out and enjoying the gardens. We took our 1 year old twin grandsons there and we all had the best time. Also, plenty of seats, toilets and drinking fountains. We are going back again before we leave the area

In town for an early peak at the Festival. Great assortment of spring blooms, including the unique trees there. Worth the trip from Brisbane.
