Toowoomba Hospital

My misses is going through the oncology clinic and has been turned away from an iron infusion which is the ONLY thing that could make her feel somewhat better right now in her life. You guys are heartless, yous are rude and yous DO NOT have a care in the world for ANY of yours patients. We have notified the head of Queensland health and all staff will be investigated.

My brother, my 7 year old brother, on his first day of school, broke his arm. Was a bad break, and possible surgery to reposition. Now just the break would not have been so bad, if they had not turned him away after making him wait 12 hours without food or water, a cannula which they had missed the vein, and made him sit in a car for 9 hours, only to be turned away!!! On top of this, my brother lives with autism, and sensory issues are extremely difficult for my precious brother to handle, and ITP, a blood condition that can be serious issue in regards to platelet count, yous would no the risk of this, even cannula is life threatening in poor conditions. He had to travel 6 hours to be there. Now he has to do all again Friday. Not to mention the orthopedic doctor harassed my mother, threatened her and left her upset to continue reassuring my baby brother that he would be ok. My mother fought all day just to have my brother taken care of, like the doctor should have been doing!! That is their job!! Several complaints have been made, and many more are to come. This review states 1 star, in reality it is a -1000 star. Absolute garbage. Rural people have no choice but to travel to be seen to, yous have only made the rural communities lives harder then what they need to be. My only compliment goes to the nurses, that commented on my brothers resilience through to whole ordeal. We do appreciate you nurses, and you deserve more credit.

I Would like to say thank you to all the staff at Toowoomba Hospital, to the ambulance drivers, Doctors & nurses and also the catering staff, I had a 3 day stay at the end of June which was my first ever time in hospital and I think our lucky we are in Australia to get good care form our medical provision.

Went to Toowoomba Base today for a Pre Op appointment was there for 6 hours . Hardly waited between specialists at all, a more professional and efficient team you wouldn’t find . Friendly, Professional, Polite Brilliant 👍

Great staff from the doctors to cleaners. Very patient, helpful, the majority are empathetic and compassionate. Well done.
