Entering this school environment in Year 7 was scary as I have never been to any different school other than my primary school. This school was very welcoming and has a lot of opportunities to help me to grow as a learner. The only problems I find are that the school uniform is very overdone. It makes sense to want to give the school a good reputation but I think that having to wear skirts and dresses every day is not ideal for everyone. I think that if we have HPE we should be allowed to come and go from school in our sports uniform as long as it is worn properly. It takes a long time to change in and out of the formal uniforms, especially the winter one. Some people I know take 10-20 minutes to get this uniform on. Changing during lunch and morning tea times is not a good idea because then we get no time to eat and starve for the rest of the day. Other than the uniform being so strict, I think that we should be getting half as much homework. We are staying up very late on weekdays just to complete our homework. This school has a very pleasing environment but some bathrooms are so outdated that we don't dare go in there. I have so many opportunities at this school and I think that there should be more socials especially for the grade 7s as we need to have the opportunity to make new friends. I would suggest a social with Mary Mackillop or St Mary's at least once a term. I have a great time at this school every day and I think that if I needed to suggest a school to anyone I would suggest this school as it is very welcoming to anyone and everyone no matter your race, language, looks, talent or brains. Thank you for providing me with such a great school. One last piece of advice would be to lower the cost of the uniform because we can lose or get things dirty easily and have to pay over $50 to buy a part of the uniform. However, the staff at the uniform shop are very lovely and always offer second hands before having to buy brand new stuff. Thanks again for building such a nice school environment and hopefully over the next few years more improvements can be made to make this an even better school.

Most of the teachers there are nice, kind and helpful. Every time i needed help with my assessments the teachers there were always very happy to help and the teachers also value student feedback on their teaching very much. However, some of the students there are very rude and would interrupt the classes, even when the teachers tell them to stop they would still laugh and carry on like nothing's happened. Secondly, the tuckshop is amazing but across the years, the prices for the food has risen dramatically. The food and snacks there are way too overpriced. Overall the school is very good with lots of caring and helpful teachers.

I think St. Ursula’s College is a very good school. The teachers, staff and boarding staff are so helpful and supportive to students and parents. They do provide a positive, safe and warm environment for students. As an international student parent, I strongly recommend this school to parents especially international parents.

I attended the school for 2 years and I did not enjoy my time there at all. Majority of the teachers that work there are horrible, rude and unfair. I only had about 4 teachers that I actually liked. The uniform requirements are completely unacceptable and the fact that it costs $80 for A skirt is unnecessary. There are very few nice students that attend the school, you feel constantly judged for everything you do and have to pretend to be a different person so you will feel accepted not only by the students but the staff as well. They also expect the students to vacuum, sweep and mop the classroom after school hours. They also expect you to change in and out of your sports uniform every time you have a hpe class and you had better watch out if your not wearing your tie in the winter or a spray jacket when it's not raining. Also I have been in trouble many times for playing hand ball or soccer on the oval at break times, because your not aloud to have fun at the school either. And on Thursday they expect you to bring food to share with the rest of the class, there have been times that I have been bullied for not bringing a cake on my birthday and the teachers didn't do anything about it all they said was "you were supposed to bring a cake today" and basically encourage the other students to continue the disgusting behaviour. There are also events that occur throughout the year such as the boat race and they force you to spend your time and money buying resources that you shouldn't have to buy, last year I was pressured into spending about $50 on resources. Overall the school is terrible, it has very few positives. I would not recommend sending your child there as it is basically hell on earth.
